Birthday Party FAQs

Choose two sessions on Obstacle Island or the Ropes Course. Each base package includes activity for 10 participants, three large pizzas, two two-liter sodas, and a reserved outdoor table for three hours.

• Obstacle Island Party: Starting at $500. Additional participants are $40 each.
• Ropes Course Party: Starting at $400. Additional participants are $30 each.

Each additional participant receives the same two activity sessions included in the package. All participants must meet the requirements for their selected activity.

A participant is someone taking part in the booked activity. Children and adults who participate count toward your package total. Guests who stay on land to watch do not need an activity ticket, and there is no general admission fee for spectators.

You can still host the party. The base package includes up to 10 participants, and its price remains the same if fewer attend. We do not offer refunds or credits for unused participant spots or guests who do not show up.

Please contact our team if you would like to add an activity to your party. We can discuss the available options, timing, and additional cost.

Our birthday packages include food, drinks, and a reserved table. If you only need activity tickets for a group, explore our Group Events options. Note, group events do not receive reserved seating or a party host.

The standard package includes one reserved outdoor table for three hours, beginning at your activity start time. Obstacle Island party tables are at the Shark Shack; Ropes Course party tables are at the Ropes Course. Each table seats approximately 10 to 12 people. Additional general seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Obstacle Island parties can upgrade from the outdoor table to a private area, subject to availability:

• Mako — add $150: Shark Shack Upper Deck, outdoors, for three hours; capacity up to 35.
• Hammerhead — add $200: Indoor party room in the Pro Shop building for three hours; capacity up to 20.
• Great White — add $250: Indoor party room in the Pro Shop building for three hours; capacity up to 30.

These upgrades replace the standard reserved table; the activity, pizza, and drinks remain part of your party package. Private areas for Ropes Course parties require assistance from our team. Please contact us before booking if you need one.

Each package includes three large cheese or pepperoni pizzas and two two-liter sodas. Party plates, cups, and napkins are provided. Additional pizzas and sodas can be added to your order.

Food is served after the two activity sessions. If you have dietary questions or want to add food, please contact us before your party.

Yes. If you need us to store a cake or cupcakes, limited storage is available for a fee. Please arrange this with our team in advance.

Birthday parties are offered during standard operating hours when your chosen attraction is available. Our activity schedules change seasonally, so check the park calendar for your preferred date.

• For 10–19 participants, use our online birthday party booking option.
• For 20 or more participants, submit a birthday party request and our team will help coordinate your event.

Book at least one week in advance. Dates, activity sessions, and private areas are limited, so we recommend reserving your preferred date as early as possible. Payment in full is required to schedule a birthday party.

No. You can book the base package for 10 participants and add guests later, subject to available activity capacity. Please finalize additional participants and food at least two days before your event. Requests after that point cannot be guaranteed.

Additional spots may not be available because activities have fixed capacities. Please arrange additions at least two days in advance rather than relying on availability when you arrive.

Our West Palm Beach park offers three attractions:

• Obstacle Island: Participants must be at least 6 years old and able to swim.
• Ropes Course: Participants must be 48 to 80 inches tall and safely fit in the harness. Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes and dry clothing are required.

These are the requirements for the birthday packages listed on this page. Please check the full Ropes Course FAQs and general FAQs before inviting guests. Activity requirements cannot be waived for a party.

Yes. Every activity participant needs a completed Shark Wake Park waiver. A parent or legal guardian must complete it for a participant under 18.

After you book, you’ll receive a party-specific waiver link that connects guest waivers to your reservation. Share that link with participating guests and ask them to complete it before arriving. Spectators who do not participate do not need an activity waiver.

Please have participants arrive 30 minutes before the activity start time for parking, check-in, and preparation. Activity sessions run on a fixed schedule; late arrivals do not receive extra activity time, refunds, or credits.

2. Enjoy two activity sessions: Each session is approximately 50 minutes, with a 10-minute break between sessions.
3. Gather for pizza and the celebration: Food is provided after the activity.

Obstacle Island sessions generally begin on the hour; Ropes Course sessions generally begin on the half hour. Your reserved table or private area is available for three hours starting at the activity start time, including the activity portion of your party.

A party coordinator may be available to assist during busy periods, but a dedicated host or server is not included as a guaranteed part of every package. Contact us if you would like to discuss staffing for your event.

Yes, subject to availability. Send your request to [email protected] at least 48 hours before your scheduled event. Include the booking name, event date, and dates you would prefer instead.

Party payments become nonrefundable within one week of the scheduled event. No-show guests and unused participant spots are not eligible for refunds or credits. If you need to change your plans, contact us as early as possible.

We do not close based on a forecast or rain alone, but unsafe weather can interrupt activities. We do not offer refunds for weather forecasts, closures, or delays. If weather affects your party on the day of the event, our team can explain available rain check credit options. In exceptional circumstances, management may offer a reschedule.
