Shark Camp FAQs

  • Ages: 6 – 14
  • Height: 45” or taller
  • Must be able to swim
  • Check-in occurs in the main Pro Shop building.
    • Monday: 8:30am – 9:00am*
    • Tuesday – Friday: 8:45am – 9:00am

*Parent/Guardian Required

  • Please complete the Shark Wake Park waiver before arrival.
  • Yes, but any camper arriving after 9am must check in with a parent through the Pro Shop.

Please do not drop your child off after 9am for camp, please accompany child to Pro Shop.

  • 1:45pm – 2:00pm at the Pro Shop building

Authorized Sign Out Required

  • Yes. Please communicate early pick up to counselor upon drop off or call our main office (843) 399-9253.
  • Campers must be signed out through our Pro Shop building before 1:45pm.
  • Lunch is NOT included with camp, but options are available for purchase:
    • Weekly: $60
    • Daily: $12
    • Includes (2) slices of pizza, (1) bag of chips, and (1) drink
  • Campers may bring a lunch, if preferred

*Please note, we do not accept cash payments on site. Lunch options may be purchased online (weekly) or during morning check in at the Pro Shop. You may also add money to your child’s account for individual purchases.

  • Campers are offered roughly (4) hours of activity, each day.
    • 8:45am – 9:00am: Drop Off
    • 9:00am – 9:15am: Safety Rules, Stretching & Warm Up
    • 9:15am – 11:15am: Activity Block 1
    • 11:15am – 11:30am: Lunch & Sunscreen
    • 11:30am – 1:30pm: Activity Block 2
    • 1:30pm – 1:45pm: Clean Up
    • 1:45pm – 2:00pm: Pick Up
  • In the event of weather disruptions, substitute activities and games will be offered.
  • Camp will be held, regardless of weather forecast
  • Counselors will be responsible for the supervision, safety and entertaining of campers, regardless of weather
  • Alternative activities and games will be offered in the event of weather disruptions
  • Camp refunds are not issued based on weather forecast, closure, disruptuons, etc.
  • Camp refunds are not issued if parent/camper elects not to attend camp
  • We recommend campers to arrive wearing bathing suits with sunscreen pre applied
  • Towel

  • Protective Wear (UV Top, Hat, Sunglasses, etc)
  • Set of Dry Clothes

*We do not accept cash at Shark Wake Park, money may be preloaded to your childs account at check-in

  • All participants under 10 years old will receive a FREE Mandatory Safety Lesson ($65 value)
  • We recommend all campers
    • Apply sunscreen BEFORE arriving at camp
    • Bring sunscreen with them – we do not provide sunscreen
    • Use protective wear (UV tops, hats, sunglasses, etc.)
  • Counselors will
    • Instruct campers to apply sunscreen twice daily, before each activity block
    • Our counselors cannot physically apply sunscreen to campers. Children are responsible for applying sunscreen when instructed by camp counselors

Late Pick-up: $10 per each 30 minutes will be applied

  • Beginner rental equipment is included with camp admission
  • Beginner rental equipment includes: Helmet, Life Jacket & Beginner Kneeboards & Wakeboards
  • Advanced equipment is required to hit ramps, rails, or cable park features
  • First timers or beginners do not typically need this option, until they have mastered navigating the cable course

Week Option: $50 / Day Option: $10

  • Please see our pricing page for any available discounts.
  • We will provide refunds with an excusal note from a medical provider. Reschedule options may also be available, depending on capacity.
  • We want our campers to have the best possible time & we try to provide as much flexibility as possible. We also encourage campers to step out of their comfort zone, and try both activities, even if they prefer one. The goal is to provide campers with two (2) hours of each activity, each day. We will try our best to accommodate activity & group requests.
  • Absolutely! We form groups the first day of camp & allow as much flexibility as possible. We are happy to accommodate sibiling and friend group requests!
  • Absolutely! If parents plan to carpool for Monday morning, all waivers & registration form must be complete. Parents will simply need to add one another to the authorized pick up list, found on our registration form.
